Operations Under COVID-19

How are you holding up? In these uncertain times, we want you to know that Clover + Birch is open for business as usual. The health and safety of our tiniest customers and our team members will always remain our number one priority. We are closely following global developments surrounding COVID-19 while enforcing CDC guidelines for businesses and employers.

That said, as an online brand that handles its own small batch production, we are well positioned to safely continue doing what we’ve always done through this difficult period and here’s why:

1) We don’t have a single employee. Seriously. Instead, our team consists of a small group of contractors that are mostly other work at home parents. This structure has allowed us to provide income to other families while allowing them to create a schedule that suits their individual needs. I’ve grown this business with my three small children by my side and it remains dear to my heart that I provide that same opportunity to other families whenever possible.

2) All of our supplies are locally or domestically sourced and are not impacted by international supply chain disruptions. We are still able to safely and consistently acquire the material required to craft our products to the same standard of quality as always.

3) We manage our own fulfillment so we are not dependent on a third party warehouse to ship your order. With this model, we can’t always promise a Prime shipping experience but we can continue packing orders with care during this time.

We will continue operating in this manner as long as we are safely able to do so and will update you if this plan should evolve in the coming weeks.

The small shop community is full of loving, creative, and resilient people that are always willing to spring into action for one another when the need arises. As we all learn to navigate this new reality in the coming weeks, I implore you to please consider supporting small businesses as you shop. If you find yourself wanting to support a small business for your needs but don’t know where to start, please let me know and I will be happy to help you make a connection. Seriously, I can find you a small shop that makes just about anything you need… except toilet paper.

Take care of each other and stay well.

With love from quarantine,
Taylor + Family
